Office Manager  **NEW POSITION**

The Office Manager is responsible for all the administrative duties of the church, including secretarial duties, bookkeeping, payroll, money handling, and coordination of office employees and contracted laborers. Candidate’s for the position must be proficient in Microsoft Office, have bookkeeping experience and possess a welcoming demeanor for all who enter our doors. Public Communications Director **NEW POSITION**

The Public Communications Director is responsible for all public relations and communications promoting the mission and initiatives of First Presbyterian Church, Tequesta. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing weekly print and video materials for social media and news outlets.
  • Writing and distributing press releases for special church related events or stories of interest.
  • Creating online materials for social media.
  • Managing all internet and website operations.
  • Creating church brochures, PowerPoint presentations and other marketing tools.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in sound and video live streaming.
  • Coordinating personnel for Sunday AV team and special services.

Youth Leader at First Tequesta 

The Youth Leader will work under the direction of the Family Ministries Director to coordinate and implement youth activities as directed by the Family Ministries Committee and church leadership. The Youth Leader will work directly with the youth ages 6th grade through 12th grades to have a positive impact on their faith formation, fellowship and fun activities. The Youth leader must have a solid understanding of reformed theology, display spiritual maturity, and exhibit empathy. This position requires a team player, a self-starter, and the ability to see a task through from concept to completion. The Youth Leader will need to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, realize leadership potential in others, and possess an enthusiastic love of leading youth to Christ.

Part-time | $16-20/hr commensurate with experience

You will also be assisting in the church office to create communications to members and friends of the church as well as helping the Church Administrator with projects as assigned.
