The 2025 Florida hurricane season, which officially began June 1st and runs through November 30th, is expected to be above average. NOAA predicts 13-19 named storms, 6-10 hurricanes, and 3-5 major hurricanes. There’s a 35% chance Florida could see a major hurricane make landfall this year, according to a report from the Center for Severe Storms.
