Per capita consists of funding to the three levels of governance beyond the session – the Presbytery of Tropical Florida, the Synod of the South Atlantic, and the General Assembly. 

For 2022 the per capita apportionment per member is the same per member amount as it was for 2021: $36.03.  Per capita apportion of $36.03 consists of the following: Presbytery = $25.55; Synod = $1.50; General Assembly = $8.98. 

Your congregation’s per capita apportionment assessment for 2022 is based on the membership reported in your General Assembly Annual Statistical Report for 2021 (in that report you reported your membership as of Dec 31, 2020).   Please contact Susan Carpenter for your church’s amount due.

Whenever you receive email from me, you will see at the very bottom of my signature a statement that reads: “My work is supported by the partnership and generosity of congregations in the presbytery, through per capita dollars and shared ministry funds.”  Such a statement reflects the reality of all the work that we do collectively as congregations in the Presbytery of Tropical Florida. 

We appreciate your diligence in paying per capita apportionment and shared ministry pledges.  Full participation in paying per capita, shared ministry, and completing statistical reports are symbols of the ways we are connected and can grow “Vibrant Together.”
