PC(U.S.A.) Ambassador Training with Blessed Tomorrow
September 17 | 11:00 am-3:00 pm ET

Americans are growing more concerned about climate change. As they witness and experience impacts to their health, livelihoods, and communities, they are increasingly looking for guidance on solutions, from people in their daily lives – including faith leaders like you. This training will equip you with the knowledge, hands-on experience, and resources to speak and act confidently on climate change and solutions. With this training, and a cohort of like-minded leaders, you will be able to engage your congregations and congregants, colleagues, the public, and policymakers to inspire climate solutions that help protect our families and communities now, and ensure a prosperous, just, and secure future. This training will be recorded via Zoom and the recording will be provided to all who register. Individuals interested in becoming Blessed Tomorrow Ambassadors must attend and/or watch (either live or recorded) the training and sign the agreement. The training will run from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM ET, and will include several breaks throughout. If you have any questions before registering, please contact FaithAmbassadors@ecoAmerica.org. Click here for the registration link for the training.

September 18 | 10:00 am-1:00 pm ET

As a follow up program to the initial Urgent Earth talk of Aug 29. We will go deep into climate issues and our missional outreach.

Presbyterian Climate Advocates is offering a four-week Zoom class called Faith and the Climate Crisis
Sundays, October 3, 10, 17, 24 | 4:00-5:15 pm ET

This class is a basic introduction to the climate crisis, environmental justice, and ways people of faith can ramp up our action on behalf of creation care–in our individual lives, our congregations, and our advocacy for state and national policy decisions. It is especially geared for people who would like to join the climate movement, and for members of congregations who are already active in earth care who would like a forum for bringing others along. Further information and publicity are attached. You can find out more at Presbyterian Climate Advocates and register here.
