PTF Green Team News – Presbyterians for Earth Care’s Lent devotional is now online. This year’s theme is God Provides Enough for All and was coordinated by Dr. Patricia Tull, Professor Emerita of Old Testament at Louisville Presbyterian Seminary. PTF Green Team News – The Earth Day Sunday resource is available to celebrate 50th anniversary of Earth Day: Presbyterian churches are urged to celebrate Earth Day Sunday on Sunday April 19 or 26.  2020 marks the 50th year anniversary of Earth Day.  The 2020 theme focuses on “The Fierce Urgency of Now” and is published by Creation Justice Ministries.   It features stories of congregations taking climate action, liturgical resources, and faith-rooted interpretation of recently released dire Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) reports. PTF Green Team News – – Looking for Earth Care Worship Ideas?   The PCUSA website has many suggestions for hymns, liturgies and readings for a Creation Care Worship Service.    It’s a great resource for Earth Day Sunday planning (Sunday April 19 or 26) or any other day you choose to celebrate Environmental Justice (such as  World Day of Prayer for Care of Creation on September 1)https://www.presbyterianmission.org/ministries/environment/earth-day-sunday/  For information on the PTF Green Team email bovertonriv@gmail.com.
